We use collected information solely to:
- Administer and improve our educational programs
- Communicate with parents and guardians
- Track student progress and measure program effectiveness
- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements
Data Security & Minor Privacy
We take data security seriously. All student data is encrypted, stored securely, and never shared with third parties without explicit parent consent. We comply with FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) and COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) regulations.
Your Rights
Parents/guardians have the right to:
- Access their child's information
- Request corrections to inaccurate data
- Request deletion of data (subject to legal requirements)
- Opt out of non-essential communications

Program Participation
By enrolling in WeYounite programs, parents/guardians agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete enrollment information
- Support their child's attendance and participation
- Maintain custodial account oversight (parent retains full control)
- Communicate with program staff about student needs
Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to:
- Treat instructors, volunteers, and peers with respect
- Use program resources responsibly
- Follow school and program rules
- Engage authentically in learning activities
Financial Accounts
Student seed investment accounts are custodial accounts under full parent/guardian control. WeYounite provides education but does not provide investment advice. All investment decisions remain with the parent/guardian.
Limitation of Liability
WeYounite provides educational programming and makes reasonable efforts to ensure student safety. However, we are not liable for investment outcomes, device usage outside our supervision, or actions taken independently by students or families based on program content.
Gift Acceptance Policy

WeYounite gratefully accepts donations that support our mission of empowering youth through financial education. This policy governs our acceptance of charitable gifts.
Accepted Gifts
We accept the following types of contributions:
- Cash and checks
- Credit and debit card donations
- Cryptocurrency (via Every.org or The Giving Block)
- Publicly traded securities
- Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) grants
- Matching gifts from employers
- In-kind donations (subject to approval)
Use of Donations
Unless otherwise designated by the donor, contributions support general operations including:
- Student seed investment accounts
- Attendance incentives and rewards
- Curriculum development and materials
- Instructor compensation
- Administrative and operational costs
Tax Receipts
WeYounite is a 501(c)(3) organization (EIN: 12-3456789). All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Tax receipts are provided for all contributions.
Refusal of Gifts
We reserve the right to refuse any gift that:
- Conflicts with our mission or values
- Comes with unreasonable restrictions
- May pose legal, ethical, or reputational risks
- Would compromise our independence
